Success At Launch

Thank you to everyone for attending our Launch Event. Seeing the wide range of people, from all corners of the community, was so inspiring to see… all with a common goal: making tennis a sport for all.

A special thank you to Members of the House of Assembly for attending. Minister Joedy Wall, Minister Andrea Barbour, MHA Riley Balsom, MHA Sarah Stoodley, MHA Keith White, and MHA Jim Dinn, and a big shoutout to Premier Tony Wakeham for his support of the organization. A special thank you to members of the St. John’s City Council, Mayor Danny Breen, Councillor Greg Noseworthy, and Councillor Nikita Ryall for attending. A big shoutout to The Battery Café for sponsoring last night’s event. And of course, to everyone on the Open Courts Board, a big thank you for all the hard work put in to making this event a success.

Now, the work begins to break down the financial barriers of tennis, and make it more accessible for every youth in Newfoundland and Labrador.
