Open Courts Foundation’s Grassroots Fund is now accepting applicants for the Spring 2026 session (at Greenbelt Tennis Club). Deadline to apply is Friday, March 20th at 11:59pm NT. The main goal of the Grassroots Fund program is to aid families in financial need to avail of tennis programming in the province. The program will fully subsidize program lesson fees, to allow youth to experience tennis, no matter their financial status.
An individual who has intentions of applying for Open Courts Foundation’s Grassroots Fund must:
avail of tennis programming through a Tennis Newfoundland and Labrador sanctioned club in the province.
reside in Newfoundland and Labrador.
be between the ages of 4 and 8 years old for first time applicants.
have proof of income through one of the two following documents:
Notice Of Assessment (NOA) issued by the Canada Revenue Agency.
Canada Child Benefit (CCB) statement.
Through the Grassroots Fund, Open Courts will help make tennis a sport for all.
